Reach Connect is about the Body of Christ reaching out to the unsaved. In the words of John Piper: “The greatest cause in the world is joyfully rescuing people from hell, meeting their earthly needs, making them glad in God, and doing it with a kind, serious pleasure that makes Christ look like the Treasure He is.” On Wednesdays we fellowship and prepare to reach out according to the great commission Matthew 28:19-20. Francois and Elene both received a Word from the Lord to love God’s people. Their heart is for people to receive the JOY of the Lord when they go out to take the church to the street. When Francois asked for joy in his deepest pain, God told him to call the lost by their name and to love them (Is. 43: 1-4). It is their passion to demonstrate God’s love and to walk in obedience to God’s call to go and make disciples.
